AREA Ruhr starts its new online Lecture and Discussion Series related to the 80th anniversary of end of WWII with a contribution (in German) by Karl Rössel who is curator of the exhibition “Die Dritte Welt im Zweiten Weltkrieg” which had been developed and extended over several decades. We first watch a video with Rössel that shows us parts of the exhibition, especially the chapter on Asia, and second have the chance to reflect upon and discuss the exhibition with him.
Karl Rössel is a journalist whose work concentrates on histories and stories of the rather neglected “Third World” during the Second World War, among other things.
