Igor Sevenard publishes in »Asian Review of Political Economy«

EAF doctoral researcher Igor Sevenard has just published an article (open access) on “Mutual norm socialization through knowledge-security restrictions in Sino-German academic cooperation” in Asian Review of Political Economy. The article was partly inspired by the C-NET RNR workshop for young scholars (in German) on Forschen in politisch herausfordernden Kontexten: Fokus VR China.

In his article, Sevenard scrutinizes the way recent security-oriented regulations in both countries has reshaped the discourse of Chinese and German academic actors, if and how standards on research-security have been altered, and what kind of socialization can be observed.
