On October 17th AREA Ruhr guest professor Prof. Chih-yu Shih (Taiwan National University) acted as main commentator at our doctoral workshop related to Chinese politics. Eight doctoral students presented on a wide range of topics/approaches, stimulating a lively discussion with Prof. Shih and among each other.
