AREA Ruhr doctoral researcher An Huy Tran and Dr. Aimi Muranaka (AREA Ruhr associated member) are the guest editors of the journal ASIEN (The German Journal on Contemporary Asia) 162/163 on “Transnational Flows of Contemporary Asia”. The publication is the outcome of a panel related to migration the two scholars chaired at the DGA’s biannual conference in 2021.
AREA Ruhr was co-organizer of this conference on Transnational Asian Studies—Multi-Level Dynamics of Identity Formation and Institution Building.
