We have to cancel the 2022 AREA Ruhr general meeting (planned on November 30th, 10am-12pm). We are extremely sorry for letting you know at such short notice.
However, the University of Duisburg-Essen has been the target of a cyber-attack and its entire IT infrastructure has been shut down and is not available for an uncertain period. Given these circumstances, the planned hybrid meeting is impossible to conduct tomorrow.
Please spread the word among your fellow AREA members in case you see or talk to each other in other contexts – we are unable to contact the colleagues from Duisburg-Essen University by their UDE email addresses.
Members will be informed about a new date for the general meeting 2022 as soon as possible.
