The kick-off event for the AREA Ruhr Graduate School on “Transnational Institution Building and Transnational Identities in East Asia” takes place on December, 6th from 5 to 7 pm at the Gerhard Mercator-Haus, Lotharstr. 57, 47057 Duisburg.

Professor Glenn Hook (School of East Asian Studies, University of Sheffield) will give a keynote address on Institution Building in East Asia – Fishing for Governance. The talk will be followed by a discussion and a small reception.
